Meet a new friend

Meet my friend, Stephanie Lynn. Stephanie and I have been good friends for a while now and enjoy hanging out talking about photography and how much we love the work we are blessed to do.

Recently we were talking about our vision for portrait photography and found we shared many of the same convictions. We believe portraits should be relaxed and they should show who someone is instead of just having someone grin at the camera and say "Cheese"!

We decided to join forces and create the best portraits available. We've spent a lot of time really thinking about what products and services we wanted to provide.

We even went as far as to travel to Illinois and visit the studio of Vicki Taufer, one of the top portrait photographers in the country. We've taken several workshops, went to the biggest tradeshows in the photographic industry and have explored the most current trends and techniques available.

After seeing what other people were doing, we sat down and worked through everything to bring a new vision for portraits to our clients for what our clients deserve. We've redeisgned our studio lighting, purchased new lenses, and have explored new photographic techniques.

We spent time in Atlanta visiting major fashion retailers, looking at the most current patterns for spring and summer. Then we visited designer fabric stores to purchase fabrics in damasks and cool funky colors for custom backgrounds. We spent time in antique stores finding old chairs with character to include in our portraits sessions.

Over the next few weeks you'll be finding out more about the exciting products and services we're going to be offering.

I am so excited and blessed to have her on our team. Stephanie will be doing all the family and children's photography for Delaney Holliman photography. She's simply amazing and I can't wait for you to meet her!

hey Leah!

What on earth are you talking about? Steph LOVES being in front of the camera! She's a TOTAL camera hog! ;) lol!

She is normally way too involved behind the lens, but was good enough to sit for an image or two. This was a fun one.

I'm excited to see what's going to happen too! :-)
