I need a Vacation! :)

We've shot back to back weddings and portraits since I can't tell you when and finally, we have a couple of weekends coming up that we marked on the calendar as off time, so we're going on vacation!!

Marissa will be in the studio getting weddings and orders out and you can feel free to leave a message there with her or Tammy at 478-475-0475.

We're going to be out of the country (England, France and perhaps Ireland), but I'll be back in the office on Monday, August 13th. I already have another awesome Senior shoot scheduled for that night, so I'm already looking forward to getting back.

This time of recharging is so overdue and I can't wait to relax a little, spend time with my wife and basically get my batteries recharged for all the upcoming weddings, portraits and shoots we have scheduled!

There's some exciting things happening around our studio. Stay tuned for more on that when I get back.

I want to take a second and thank all of you for everything you've done to make Delaney Holliman Photography such a success. Every day I wake up and wonder why in the world we are blessed as much as we are. Thank you all for your support, prayers and friendships.

I love taking images, but it's you, the people we are blessed to work with, who really makes this work the amazing and awesome experience it is.

Thank you all so much!!

Morgan Williams

This talented and awesome Senior came to our studio for senior portraits, walked in the door and said, "Hi. I'm Morgan." Man, I had no idea I was going to have this much fun at our shoot!

Morgan was totally funny and could sing, dance and she was just beautiful! She brought her puppy along and we all went down to the park and then downtown to just have some fun hanging out. Her mom came along and we all had the best time.

You HAVE to click here and check out her portrait montage! She is awesome!

Around Downtown

Before the big proposal (see below), we walked around down town and had some fun just shooting in different places. I wanted to share some of these images of these awesome guys with you too.

Enjoy!

Will you marry me?

Jason called me up a while back and said he wanted some help with something big. He wanted me to shoot some "engagement style" photos of him and his girlfriend, and then at the end he wanted to propose to her!

We worked all the details out and somehow he managed to keep it a surprise!

We went downtown and had a blast just walking all over and shooting and having fun. Then, we went to a small park not to far away and shot a few more shots.

Finally, Jason took a deep breath, and I could tell what was going to happen. I backed up to give them a little room and he proposed! I couldn't hear what he was saying because I was shooting from a few yards away, but it looked like to me it was totally heartfelt and amazing. Of course, she said yes!

It was an amazing time and one of the best shoots I've ever been blessed to be a part of. I thought how awesome it was that he put so much though into it! He called me several times over the last few weeks and knew just how he wanted it all to happen.

I wanted to share some of the photos here with them, and you can have a peek too!

These guys are going to be amazing together - actually, they already are!

Congratulations guys!!

Go get 'em Grace.

Grace is someone I admire so much. She plays lead guitar in a band. Recently, she invited me to come and hear them play.
They were awesome! I knew Grace played the piano and totally owned the guitar, but I never knew how awesome she could sing! She was totally comfortable on stage and you could tell she really cared about what she was doing and she was so amazing at it.

Grace and I have worked together recently to get some Senior portraits done for her. Next year, she's going to college to pursue her music career.

All our hopes and dreams go with her.

Go get them, Grace.
