Edinburgh, Scotland

Scotland was one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen. Rolling hills of green grass, beautiful old castles and the people were charming and friendly.

We walked the Royal Mile, a street between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. Edinburgh Castle was at the top, placed on a high hill that was once a volcano. and Holyrood Palace was where the Queen stays when she visits Scotland. They had a small art exhibit of some of Leonardo's sketches that were simply inspired.

There was a Military Tattooe and all through the streets you could hear bagpipes and drums playing from different Military Bands.

We ate a traditional Scottish lunch in a pub named "Worlds End". It was built on the city wall where some people never ventured beyond, making it the "Worlds End."

Then we hiked up to a tall hill called "Author's Seat" that overlooked all of Edinburgh. We sat down on a rock and enjoyed some time enjoying the view, relaxing and thinking about all the history, the wars, the people and the events that had happened at this place over the last 7,000 years.
